My husband and I became new puppy parents about 4 months ago, and Brooklyn Tails & Trails has been instrumental as we raise our puppy! Chloe is a jack russell terrier/rat terrier mix with an abundant amount of energy, so when we were searching for a dog walker we wanted to make sure we found one that would provide her with the right attention and care to fulfill her puppy needs. We did extensive research on various dog walking companies and eventually chose Brooklyn Tails & Trails due to the great reviews and reasonably priced walks; we have never looked back!
From the start, Nelli was extremely communicative, open, friendly, accommodating, and helpful (we were new parents, after all). She and Frank came to our apartment for a meet and greet the day after we adopted Chloe in preparation for scheduled walks the following week. During that initial meeting, my husband and I knew that Nelli and Frank were the perfect fit for us and Chloe! They walked us through the typical routine of the scheduled walks (we opted for two 20-minute check-ins per day) and even gave us some very helpful tips in raising a puppy. Even after the initial meeting, Nelli continues to be very responsive and professional; each time that we speak to her via text/email, she is extremely responsive and it really does feel like we are her only client (which we know is not the case!). This is testament to how attentive she is to each client!
Frank is an extremely experienced dog walker and especially attentive to the needs of young puppies. We enjoy his text updates that include three photos of Chloe and a synopsis of her walk (including if she went #1 or #2, which proves very helpful for our walks later in the day!) for each walk. I always look forward to these text updates while I’m at work. Frank and Nelli also worked with us to slowly integrate Chloe into group walks; as she can be a little distracting to other dogs (she wants to lick all of their faces), Frank is starting to walk her with one dog at a time, which is helping to build her familiarity with the idea of a “pack” walk.
We are extremely happy with Brooklyn Tails & Trails and Frank and continue to recommend them to dog owners in our building!
